This is a Tuition free online Bible College. All the class material is available by online studies, CD-ROM or correspondence. All the requirements for the classes is in the class syllabus or the first page of the class. To start the process fill out an admissions form. Then in order to receive credit and your degree one must register for the classes complete course work and forward to Mentor.

The purpose of Trinity College of Biblical Studies is to familiarize students with the content and concepts of the Bible, the appropriate methodologies for the interpretation and the application of biblical teaching. Students are encouraged to go on Holy Land Pilgrimages, Archaeological field trips and are taught to use research tools which will aide independent study of biblical texts and topics. For career purposes, the major may be used as a terminal degree, preparing students for employment in a local church by achieving a level of biblical literacy that will enable them to be active in church leadership and teaching ministries.
Students are trained in basic biblical and theological knowledge. They are encouraged to develop skills that enable them to take into account the original linguistic, literary, historical, and cultural contexts of the Bible. Students are thereby enabled to consider critically religious traditions, beliefs, and practice in order to bring them into conformity with biblical revelation and to evaluate all of life and thought from the perspective of biblical principles.

The ultimate goal of Theological Studies is to ensure that the church’s proclamation and the individual’s life is faithful to God’s revelation of Himself in Scripture. Student's with good theological training will know how to evaluate critically their own personal theological leaning, be aware and respectful of other theological positions, and be able to distinguish those values that are distinctly Christian from those that the secular world espouses

These objectives are attained through the academic processes, Pilgrimages, and Archaeological field trips which enable students to formulate a constructive, personal stance of Christian faith, to become aware of how culture affected biblical revelation These courses are taken completely online, Holy Land Pilgrimages and Archaeological field trips are planed in advance. Students fulfilling the undergraduate curriculum will graduate with Bachelor of Biblical Studies and receive Ordination.

The Master of Divinity Degree

Purpose

The Master of Divinity curriculum provides a basic three-year program in graduate theological education for those preparing for church or mission vocations. The program is designed to provide a broad biblical, theological, and practical foundation for those entering pastoral or missionary field. The program may also provide a basis for further graduate study leading to such degrees as Master of Theology (Th.M.), Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.), or Doctor of Theology (Th.D.).Doctor of Divinity (D. Div)

In fulfilling the mission of the seminary, the Master of Divinity program focuses on three areas of special emphasis: biblical understanding, personal growth, and professional preparation. The emphasis on a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Bible is demonstrated throughout the curriculum, especially in direct Bible study courses, and in the biblical language, hermeneutics, and theology courses. The emphasis on personal growth is demonstrated in the required discipleship labs, and in significant portions of the field education and pastoral ministries courses. The emphasis on professional development is demonstrated primarily through the pastoral ministries, expository preaching and teaching..

BITH Old Testament Survey An overview of the Old Testament, tracing its teaching with respect to historical background and literary character.4 Units

BITH New Testament Survey An overview of the New Testament, tracing its teaching with respect to historical background and literary character. 4 Units

BITH Systematic Theology I. A critical investigation into the content and contemporary significance of the Christian faith, emphasizing biblical foundations, philosophic presuppositions and comprehensiveness. 3 Units

BITH Studies in Biblical Lands An investigation into the biblical theology in their historical, cultural, Archaeological, and geographical setting with major emphasis in Israel.3 Units Pilgrimage to the Holy Land for further studies 3 Units

BITH Studies in Paul's Book to the Romans A chapter-by-chapter analysis of Paul’s argument in the book of Romans with special emphasis on Paul’s view of humanity, salvation, Christ, and the Holy Spirit.3 Units

BITH .The Synoptic Gospels- A comparative study of the Synoptic Gospels. The question of the relationship & sources of the gospels of Matthew, Mark & Luke. 3 Units

BITH Studies in the Gospel of St. John. A comprehensive study of John’s gospel. Its insights into personal spirituality, will be emphasized in the context of critical Johannine scholarship.3 Units

BITH Introduction to Hebrew. Introduction to Biblical Hebrew covers some essential elements of the grammar of Biblical Hebrew and introduces some basic vocabulary. It introduces students to aspects of translation of Biblical Hebrew as well as the main lexical aids. On completion of the subject students should be able to translate basic nominal and verbal sentences.3 Units

BITH The Psalms-Songs of Israel and the Church A study of the spiritual and literary legacy of the book of Psalms. The collection will be analyzed according to literary types, and the individual psalms studied according to their type and content. The use of Psalms in the history of the Church as a vehicle of worship will be a daily devotional focus to begin each class 3 Units

BITH Old Testament Apocalyptic Literature A survey of the development of apocalyptic literature in the OT (Isaiah, Daniel, Ezekiel, Joel, Zechariah) and the intertestamental period (2 Esdras and Enoch). This survey includes an introduction to the character of apocalyptic, foundational principles for the interpretation of apocalyptic, and an evaluation of apocalyptic as a communicative and revelatory vehicle. 3 Units

BITH Intertestamental Literature A survey of intertestamental history from 300 to 5 B.C. with special attention given to the literature of the period as a theological bridge between the Old and New Covenants. Areas of study include OT Apocrypha and selections from the OT Pseudepigrapha, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and rabbinic Judaism. 3 Units

BITH Old Testament Wisdom Literature.A selection from the Old Testament wisdom books, Job, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Songs of Solomon, and Lamentations, The apocryphal books of Jesus ben Sirach and the Wisdom of Solomon may also be read and studied in relation to canonical wisdom. 3 Units

BITH Life of Christ A thorough study of Jesus’ life and teaching. Primary attention will be given to reconstructing the first-century with historical, Archeological, and cultural setting of Judaism that shaped Jesus’ message.3 Units

BITH Paul of Tarsus A study of the life and thought of Paul as found in the book of Acts and in Paul’s New Testament letters. The course will synthesize the major categories of Pauline thought and emphasize their value for faith today. 3 Units The footsteps of Paul Tour is available 3 Units

BITH Institutes of the Christian Religion Reading and analysis of the Institutes of the Christian Religion, emphasizing Calvin's method, material arrangement, and biblical theological content. Elective 3 Units

BITH Studies in Paul's First Epistle to the Corinthians A section-by-section survey of 1 Corinthians dealing with the issues of the nature of the Church, Christian behavior and social responsibility, sexuality, marriage and divorce, Christian worship, the spiritual gifts, and the resurrection. 3 Units

BITH Acts of the Apostles A study of the Book of Acts focused on the birth and development of the apostolic church, its dissociation from Judaism, and the progress of the missionary enterprise. 3 Units Footsteps of Paul Tour 3 Units

BITH Women of the Bible Women in the Bible An overview of the Bible passages that deal with women’s role in the family and in church, and an understanding of the situation of Christian women Elective 3 Units

BITH Prison Epistles Analysis of Ephesians, Colossians, Philippians, and Philemon, all written while the author was in chains. Attention will focus on the light these letters throw on Paul’s life and thought, as well as on the abiding challenge of their message. 3 Units Footsteps of Paul Tour 3 Units

BITH -Anthology of Christianity Anthology of Christianity examines the key figures, events and ideas from the Apostolic age to the Reformation in Christian history and places them in context. 3 Units

BITH History of Theological Christian Thought. Historical survey of people and movements which have shaped the faith of the Christian church from post-biblical times to today's modern thought 3 Units

BITH- Pneumatology An investigation of the doctrine of the Holy Spirit, with reference to the biblical foundations and significant historical and contemporary developments. Trinitarian issues will be discussed, as well as an emphasis on the Spirit’s cosmic work. Additionally, this course aims to encourage a deeper understanding of the Spirit’s role in our lives.3 Units

BITH Biblical Interpretation and Hermeneutics. A survey of hermeneutical theory discussing how author, text, and reader work together as meaning emerges from a text. These insights will then be applied to the Bible, giving the student an interpretive strategy for exegete biblical texts and bringing their meaning into the modern world. 3 Units

BITH Blood of Christian Martyrs the seed of Christianity- Is the blood of Christian Martyrs the seed of Christianity? A riveting question that this class will try to answer.Elective 3 Units.

BITH The Exodus. The exodus event is as central to OT theology as the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ to NT theology. The historical and theological implications of this book will be examined, with special emphasis given to the covenant between God and Israel. Elective 3 Units Holy Land Pilgrimages 3 Units

BITH The Letters to the Seven Churches of Asia The Letters to the Seven Churches of Asia and their place in the plan of the Apocalypse with special attention to the historical background, literary analysis, theological emphases, and traditional interpretations .Elective 3 Units

BITH -Reformation and Modern Church History-The study of Christianity from the Reformation to the present, with source material readings. Also the development of Christian thought and apply church history to contemporary ideas and issues. The course also includes a brief overview of historic revivals and world missions. 3 Units

BITH -Introduction to NT Greek Introduction to New Testament Greek covers some essential elements of the grammar of Greek and introduces some basic vocabulary. BITH Catholic Epistles. An introductory historical and exegetical study working toward practical applications in selected passages from the General Epistles.3 Units

BITH -Parables of Jesus An examination of the parabolic teaching of Jesus then (in its first century Palestinian cultural setting) and now (its message to twenty-first-century Christians and society). Emphasis on the history of interpretation, especially contemporary literary-aesthetic approaches. Elective 3 Units

BITH -Old Testament Exegesis A practical study of the procedures for doing sound exegesis in the various portions of the Old Testament. The method will include the study of words, poetics, textual criticism, syntax, biblical theology, and practical exegetical exposition in the different genres of the Hebrew Bible. 3 Units

BITH Introduction to Greek Grammar Introduction to Greek Grammar covers some essential elements of the grammar of Greek and introduces some basic Syntax, Mood and Tense. For learners with beginning Ancient Greek experience, this Class provides excellent discussion and examples of Greek Syntax.3 Units

BITH -New Testament Apocalyptic Literature A survey of the development of apocalyptic literature in the New Testament. This survey includes an introduction to the character of apocalyptic, foundational principles for the interpretation of apocalyptic, and an evaluation of apocalyptic as a communicative and revelatory vehicle.3 Units

BITH .Pastoral Epistles Careful investigation of 1 and 2 Timothy and Titus. Detailed textual analysis will lead to better understanding of the joys and struggles of Christian leadership under Paul’s direction. BITH The Greek Text of Romans: Text Critical Study . Using the textbook and the textual notes in the lectures, construct an exegesis (of 10 pages) on a segment of Romans of your choosing. 3 Units

BITH Feminist Theology This course offers a theological examination of the representation of women and gender in Christianity. Attention is given to the historical and cultural contexts of the first century and contemporary period. Theological, historical, literary, exegetical, and feminist methods are variously employed. Elective 3 Units

BITH Jerusalem the Holy City Following a chronological order, this course explores the origins, character and ongoing shifts in symbolic meaning of one of the most ancient and continuously settled cities on earth, Jerusalem. Students will acquire basic knowledge of the major periods in this long history as well as of the communities and traditions that have called it their home. Elective 3 Units
